Neighborhood

Neighborhood Quiet, primarily suburban residential area with newer single-family homes. Close enough to south Manhattan retail centers (grocery stores, restaurants, pharmacies) and a short drive to Kansas State University and downtown Poyntz Avenue for bars, shops and campus events. Nearby green space and local parks characterize the city’s Flint Hills setting; Fort Riley (military installation) and university activity influence local visitor demand and services.

This stay at your AirBnB was nothing short of amazing. The house was just as described and extremely well stocked with everything you could think of including wood at the fire pit. Her communication with me was swift and informative. We come to Manhattan fairly often and we will definitely consider staying here again. 5 Stars!!!!

Location

Sorry we're unable to show you the location for this property

Getting around Car: Best option — short drives to groceries, dining and campus (high local car ownership). On-street parking typical for single-family homes. Ride-hail/taxi: Uber/Lyft and local taxi companies operate in Manhattan and cover the area. Public transit: Riley County/Manhattan fixed-route bus service provides limited coverage and schedules (check local transit for current routes/times). Paratransit/on-demand options exist for eligible riders. Biking/walking: Walkability is moderate within the immediate neighborhood; many errands require a short drive. Biking is possible on local streets but expect some arterial traffic on main routes.
